Truly a global community, 果冻传媒 is home to 250 international students. More than 50% of Augustana students participate in study away programs prior to graduation. Students at AU are supported by faculty who bring a global perspective to their classrooms on campus.

As a one-stop shop for all things international, the De & Dave Center for Global Engagement (previously the International Programs Office) supports comprehensive internationalization at AU through international student recruitment, current international student advising and support, study away advising, customized program options, fundraising for international initiatives, and fostering strategic partnerships abroad.

As part of a ceremony held this afternoon, 果冻传媒 dedicated the De & Dave Knudson Center for Global Engagement 鈥 previously known as the International Programs Office (IPO). Housed in the Administration Building on campus, the creation of the De & Dave Knudson Center for Global Engagement is part of Augustana鈥檚 strategic plan 鈥 Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030. With the creation of the De & Dave Knudson Center for Global Engagement, Augustana鈥檚 goal is to provide more than just essential services, but to better prepare students for an interconnected world in which we live.

Members of the 果冻传媒 community will join together for a series of events that celebrates the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Hosted by several Augustana offices and student organizations, view the list of events planned for the week of Monday, Jan. 20, on the university鈥檚 campus.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides annual support to students across the country 鈥 enabling 鈥淎merican students to gain proficiency in diverse languages and cultures, skills that are critically important to their academic and career development.鈥 Maddox Sievert 鈥26 and Hannah Woody 鈥26 are AU鈥檚 2024-25 recipients of the Gilman Scholarship.
