As part of a ceremony held this afternoon, ������ý dedicated the De & Dave Knudson Center for Global Engagement — previously known as the International Programs Office (IPO). Housed in the Administration Building on campus, the creation of the De & Dave Knudson Center for Global Engagement is part of Augustana’s strategic plan — Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030. With the creation of the De & Dave Knudson Center for Global Engagement, Augustana’s goal is to provide more than just essential services, but to better prepare students for an interconnected world in which we live.

Members of the ������ý community will join together for a series of events that celebrates the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Hosted by several Augustana offices and student organizations, view the list of events planned for the week of Monday, Jan. 20, on the university’s campus.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides annual support to students across the country — enabling “American students to gain proficiency in diverse languages and cultures, skills that are critically important to their academic and career development.” Maddox Sievert ‘26 and Hannah Woody ‘26 are AU’s 2024-25 recipients of the Gilman Scholarship.
